花柳界では元旦から15日までを【松の内】といい、黒留袖をお引きずりの正装の芸妓が鏡開きを行い、華々しく新年をお祝いします。

伝統的なお茶屋建築の中で、美味しいお料理とともに、一流の芸妓による踊りや太鼓をご堪能いただけます。
お座敷という特別な空間では、料理や調度品、芸妓の着物に至るまで、すべてが金沢文化の集大成として体験できます。

Experience the elegance of Kaikaro (KAIKARO), a Registered Tangible Cultural Property located in Kanazawa’s historic Higashi Chaya District.

In the traditional Japanese geisha world, the period from New Year’s Day to January 15 is known as Matsu no Uchi. During this time, geiko (geisha) in formal black kimono perform the Kagami-biraki ceremony, celebrating the New Year with grace and splendor.

Within the exquisite architecture of this historic tea house, guests will enjoy delicious cuisine alongside performances of dance and taiko drumming by top-class geiko. Every detail of the experience—from the dishes and interior furnishings to the geiko’s attire—reflects the rich cultural heritage of Kanazawa.
