このたび、日本を代表するチェリスト・水谷川優子氏をお迎えし、Ginza SAPPHIRE Loungeでは初となるクラシック音楽イベントを開催いたします。都会の喧騒から一歩離れ、静謐な音色に身を委ねるひととき。サファイアブルーに包まれた空間の中で、チェロの深く豊かな響きが心に静かに染み渡ります。音楽と空間が織りなす、ここでしか体験できない優雅な時間をお届けいたします。
About the Artist
水谷川優子氏は 指揮者・近衞秀麿を祖父に持ち、その遺志を受けて5歳よりチェロを始める。桐朋学園大学音楽学部附属女子高等学校音楽科を卒業後、同大学ディプロマコースを修了。
ザルツブルク・モーツァルテウム音楽院を首席で卒業。第6回東京国際室内楽コンクール優勝、イタリア・カラブリア芸術祭コンクール優勝など、国内外で数々の受賞歴を誇る。
現在は日本とドイツを拠点に、ソリストおよび室内楽奏者として各国で活動。伊勢神宮遷宮奉祝行事や、東寺開宗1200年記念 弘法大師恩謝・世界平和祈願奉納演奏など、文化的意義の高い舞台にも出演している。

Ginza SAPPHIRE Lounge is pleased to host its first-ever special classical music performance, welcoming one of Japan’s leading cellists, Ms. Yuko Miyagawa.
A moment to step away from the hustle and bustle of the city and entrust yourself to tranquil tones. Within a space enveloped in sapphire blue, the deep and rich resonance of the cello gently permeates the heart. We present an elegant experience, woven together by music and space, that can only be experienced here.
About the Artist
Ms. Yuko Miyagawa is the granddaughter of conductor Hidemaro Konoe, and began playing the cello at the age of five, carrying on his legacy. After graduating from the Music Department of Toho Gakuen School of Music High School, she completed the diploma course at the same university.
She graduated at the top of her class from the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She has received numerous awards both in Japan and internationally, including First Prize at the 6th Tokyo International Chamber Music Competition and First Prize at the Calabria Art Festival Competition in Italy.
Currently based in Japan and Germany, she performs internationally as both a soloist and chamber musician. She has also appeared on culturally significant stages, including celebratory events for the reconstruction of Ise Grand Shrine, and the 1200th anniversary of Toji Temple, in dedication performances for Kobo Daishi and prayers for world peace.
