Wine Tasting with Leo Shinohara
Leo Shinohara is a winemaker who, as the first Japanese vintner to establish a château in Bordeaux, has been producing wines under his own label, Clos Leo, since 2002.
Placing quality above quantity, all grapes are harvested by hand. Using fruit from vines over 50 years old, and without the use of any chemical fertilizers or herbicides, he continues to craft high-quality wines that draw fully on the power of nature.
At this tasting event, guests will enjoy Clos Leo—featured on the Ginza SAPPHIRE wine list—as well as wines personally recommended by Leo, while listening to his story, from the purchase of the vineyard to the philosophy and process behind his winemaking.
